Information We Collect

Highway One may collect contact details, lead form submissions, dealer agreement records, vehicle interest details, technical metadata, and communications submitted through the service.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the marketplace, present inventory, generate and route buyer leads, support dealer relationships, improve the showroom experience, prevent abuse, and communicate with users.

Coselling Referrals

When Coselling is enabled and a visitor opens a Coseller sharing link on Highway One or an H1-hosted dealer site, H1 records the referral click and sets a first-party visitor cookie on highwayone.autos. The cookie can last up to one year. If the visitor later signs in, H1 can associate the visit with their member handle to credit eligible Market purchases for up to 180 days. Shared page paths are used for reporting; private page details and contact information are not included in sharing links. Vehicle inquiries and off-platform vehicle purchases do not earn Coselling commissions.

Each eligible opening of a sharing link is recorded, including repeat visits. Ordinary page navigation and reloads of the destination page do not add referral visits. Visit totals and unique referred members are counted separately; repeated visits do not multiply a Coseller’s payout weight.

You can stop future referral recording and clear this browser’s H1 referral cookie. This does not erase records already used for a completed purchase or legal and accounting records.

Sharing

When a visitor registers interest in a vehicle, Highway One sends the contact and inquiry details to the dealer or seller associated with that vehicle when a dealer contact is available. Highway One keeps a copy. If direct delivery is unavailable, Highway One receives the inquiry to arrange follow-up. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate the platform.

Retention

We keep records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable obligations.
